What up my Movie Mates?
Let’s skip the pleasantries and get right to business. Oaks Center Cinema is building the world’s first-ever Samsung Onyx Screen paired with D-BOX motion seating. I would say the Universe’s first-ever Samsung Onyx Screen paired with D-BOX motion seating, but I can’t say for certain as I have never traveled beyond our Galaxy. There could also be multiverses out there with it. Most likely, it is the Milky Way Galaxy’s first-ever Samsung Onyx Screen paired with D-BOX motion seating. Though they did find a green flashing light on Jupiter which could be a Neon sign advertising D-BOX/Onyx, but for now, until proven wrong, we got it first!
So, what are D-Box and Samsung Onyx? Well Friend, I am glad you asked. Please refer to our FAQ section below.
FAQ Section
What is D-Box? D-BOX is state-of-the-art motion seating that uses haptic coding to sync the action on the screen with movement in your Recliner.
So, it’s like 4DX? I don’t like 4DX. While 4DX does use motion with their seating. You can’t control the intensity of the motion. 4DX seats come in a bank of 4 or more seats and sometimes whip you around at intense speeds. Our D-BOX motion seats allow you to control the level of intensity or even turn it off if you need a break.
Oh, that sounds cool. Sure does.
Are all movies encoded for D-Box? Most major films are now being released for D-BOX. D-BOX has also gone back and included classic movies such as “Back to the Future” and “The Matrix.” Just not the stupid ones.
Is it professional to refer to repertory films as stupid? Shut up and ask about the Samsung Onyx.
What is the Samsung Onyx? Glad you asked; the Samsung Onyx is a direct view LED screen specifically designed to replace traditional projection systems. It delivers true blacks, an infinite contrast ratio, 4k resolution, and more fancy a/v terms. In short, it is the future of cinema.
Can you explain all of this again in next month's blog? Oh, trust me, friend, they will make me talk about this non-stop.
Should I stay safe out there? Yes, stay safe out there Movie Mates
