What the February is up my Movie Mates?
After January’s explosive and emotional blog, I feel like it is time to go back to basics. January’s blog was so intense, and I revealed so many secrets, that I think it's time to tone it down. Thank you to all of my Movie Mates for the outpour of support you have shown me after January’s tumultuous blog.
It’s the season of Love, and if you Love Love like I Love Love then you’ll Love our Lovely Love Seats! What better way to say “I Love You” than taking your loved one to a fancy schmancy movie date in a luxury heated-messaging-Reclining Love Seat! We have everything you need to show your loved one how much you really do care even though you ignored them all year. Why go to the effort of planning your Valentine's date yourself when you can just let a movie theatre blog do all the planning for you? Follow my easy to use 4 step guide to make date night a great night!
Step 1: Cancel your dinner reservations. You don’t need ‘em. The OCC has everything you need.
Step 2: Buy your tickets in advance at Oakscenter.net or Fandango.com. You don’t want to be that person who shows up for a V-Day date, and the show is sold out! Make sure to check the show tags on the films to find out which showings are recliners, and try to snag either a Love Seat, Recliner, or a D-Box motion seat.
Step 2: Come 30 minutes to an hour early for your movie. We have a full bar. Grab some reasonably priced drinks and laugh about all of the people stuffed into an overpriced restaurant.
Step 3: Have another Drink.
Step 4: Head to the concession stand and buy everything your pretty little heart desires. Get some Home-made Chocolate fudge, a mouth-watering Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of Truffle Parmesan Fries, and a Diet Coke. Ok, it doesn’t have to be that exact combination, we have tons of delicious snacks and an expansive hot food menu. Don’t forget, you can take those bar drinks in the auditorium as well.
Step 5: Wine, Dine, and Recline! Turn the heat on, set the massager to the 3rd setting, lift the armrest of the love seat, and let the movies take it from there.
