What’s up, my Movie Mates?

I was recently made aware that the target date to get the newsletter out was the 1st of every month and that I have been holding us back from hitting that deadline. Some have made some very bold claims that I set that date. At this time, under the advice of counsel, I will neither confirm nor deny these allegations.

The Renovations for our luxury recliners and DBOX motion seating are going extremely well! If you aren’t sick of me saying it, then I will say it again: Heated, Messaging, Recliners! Top o’ the Line, baby. We want our Movie Mates to be nice and comfy. When you experience the thrill of a movie in DBOX motion seating, you’ll probably never want to watch a movie without DBOX again. DBOX is a motion actuator installed into one of the luxury recliners with personal controls, so you don’t have to compromise any of the luxurious comfort when you upgrade to the immersive motion experience. We also want y’all well fed, so we have finally expanded our food menu! We got some brand spanking new AI-driven smart Combi ovens that cook food to perfection! We just got them this week, so we are starting with a limited menu while we get up and running, but a full menu with apps, dinners, sandwiches, and flatbread is on its way!

I can’t believe it is October already! I definitely don’t have time to mess around in this Blog. October is JAM PACKED with things going on at Ye Ole OCC. First things first, I’m the realest. Second thing, second, we have the DVF showcase on October 18th! Tickets are on sale now, so scoop them up before they are gone! This is your chance to hobnob with local independent Producers, Directors, and Actors and watch some very creative original short films!

We will also be doing an International Premiere for “Dogspiracy” on October 25th with a Live Q&A and a meet and greet with one of the Dog Stars of the film. “Dogspiracy” aims to help put a stop to Puppy mills and Inhumane treatment of dogs.

We have also ramped up our fudge-making operation by adding a slew of new flavors! We have Caramel Apple, Caramel Cookie Crunch, Cookie Dough, Chocolate Marshmallow, Rocky Road, and Chocolate Caramel Walnut! And don’t forget the classics, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate M&Ms, and probably some more I am forgetting! Also, be on the lookout for the Fudge Dipped Marshmallows coming soon! And while it has nothing to do with fudge and may seem extremely random, don’t forget we have SWEET TEA!

For other October/Halloween events, don’t forget to check out Arnold’s! They just added Axe Throwing and are doing a bunch of cool Halloween events, like the trick or treat on October 25th.
